SLOSA is a member of the Central California Firearms Education Foundation. We are a non-profit corporation created to sponsor and educate the public regarding the proper use of varying types of firearms through instruction, coaching, demonstration. We provide varied firearm and hunter safety courses including 4H, and Boy Scout shooting. We also promote the enforcement and observation of fish, game, and forest laws and regulations as well as provide information regarding conservation of wildlife and environmental resources. We offer multiple range types including the Rifle & Pistol Range, Trap & Skeet Range, and Archery Range. We host numerous events monthly including the Blackpowder Muzzleloaders competition, High Power Rifle program, Cowboy Action Shooting, and Action Pistol events at the Hogue Range. |

POPGUN NIGHT First Saturday of the month. September 4th. Popgun Night will be at the Rifle range from 4-7PM. This is a rimfire-only event. It is held with kids in mind, everyone is welcome! Also open every 2nd and 4th Wed evenings from 3pm till 8pm Ladies Night at the Trap Range is BACK! Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday evening from 5pm- 9pm Archery Open for practice when the shotgun range is open. Third Sunday at Black Powder Range is a 14 target course 9am-1pm. |

Join the SLO Sportsmen's Association! MEMBERSHIP PROCESSING ISSUES! as many of you have noticed we are running a few months behind on processing memberships and getting membership cards out. this is due to me having surgery and having my dominant arm in a sling for 3 months. I will be attempting to catch up on cards in the next week or two. you can check the status of your membership by creating an account and logging into the website using the e-mail address you supplied in your membership form. To purchase your membership online login and click the Buy or Renew Membership link. If you need to register click the same link and you will be prompted to create a new user. After that you will also see a link to your membership status and a link to update your personal information. Or memberships can be purchased at any SLOSA shooting venue or event and by mail. The membership price is $50.00 per family per year or $200.00 for a 5 year membership. A "family" is any member plus his spouse and children under 18 years of age. Memberships are now offered for 12 months from the day you sign up and there is a 45 day grace period for renewals.
