The Rifle & Pistol Range is open to the public during the following hours:
Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Thursday and Friday evenings from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Note: The 3rd Saturday of the month is a High Power match at 8am. Public shooting does not open until noon on the 3rd Saturday. (details on the High Power match can be found HERE )
Starting September 1st, prices at the SLOSA Rifle-Pistol range will be increasing. The new rates will be $10 for members and $20 for non-members. Accompanied minors will be $10 regardless of family membership status.
Friday night is Student Night. Bring your student ID to the Friday night session (6PM - 9PM) and shoot for $5.

The shooting fees are $5.00 per person per day for SLOSA members and $10.00 for non-members. And now anyone with a student ID shoots for $5 on Friday nights! We accept cash or check, but we are unable to accept credit or debit card payments. Individual or family memberships can be purchased annually. The daily fee includes paper targets, use of target stand, and use of accessories to bench shoot. Paper targets can be set from 7 to 300 yards, and there are steel gongs on both rifle and pistol sides as far out as 700 yards. The range phone is 805-541-3338. Note that it is only answered when the range is open and that range safety operations take priority over answering the phone
Safety is a top priority and safety instruction is available to all visitors. Informal basic firearms coaching can be given to newcomers. Boy Scouts, 4-H and other youth organizations are welcomed. Our Range Officers are knowledgeable and can assist you in your shooting questions and needs.
Hearing and eye protection are required and can be purchased or loaned on site. Shooting bench rests, spotting scopes, sand bags, and other accessories are available for for your use at no charge.
